WE're getting married Jan. 2nd! Like as in the one coming up! We are so excited. THe whole reason while we were waiting to get married is because of my school, come to find out I am not graduating on time. So we just decieded to go ahead and get hitched. Everything has just fallen into place since then....Jeni and D.B don't have to spend oddles of money to get back here in June, our honeymoon is paid for by my wonderful in laws, the davenport was free and people aren't booked for that day. I am going to school that is 1/3 the price of NGU and I will only have to go a semester extra! Yes it will be hard and no we won't have a lot of money, but the first year of marriage is hard anyways ;-P but we will have each other and that is what we want. He is leaving tomorrow to go back to NOLA tomorrow and it just makes it easier knowing that it is only 70 days until we get married. Yes it will be sad when he gets on that plane and leaves me to go back to his life their but I know that in no time at all he doesn't have to leave me to go live a life without me. It's been very hard on the both of use, made things more stressful than I think they have to be, so now we have something to look forward too.
Before we got engaged he wanted a long engagement and I want a short engagement. Now we have the best of both worlds , we've been engaged since march, and now have two months until we get married . Except he wanted a winter wedding.. I don't like the winter too much but hey the flowers and the dresses are summery haha ;-)! So Jan 2nd is the way were are starting off our New Year....I like it ;-)

E.B is still the cutest thing to walk the planet....D.B and Jeni and of course E.B are in virgina and I miss that baby so much.....yes she still is the flower girl and she is going to be the prettest thing at the wedding :-)

I forgot our password haha! So the other day I went dress shopping. I went with the intentions of finding the bridesmaids dress not my own. End up finding neither. I think I know the bridemaids dress...but who knows. I want something fun and exciting and flattering and fun. So you know. Kris is busy working and making arrangements to move to New Orleans :-(. Life will go on but this is probably going to be the longest year of my life. It really is my best friend moving over 8 hours away :-(! So we published Jeni haha!

I am not enjoying sitting inside on a beautiful day when it is 75 degrees out side. I am sitting in class in listening to presentations and I will be doing this all day long :-(!

For those that do not know Kris and I will be more than likely moving down to New Orleans. I think it will be fun and exciting, but I will miss my family and friends. But what a vacation spot. They say that it is better where to be away from the rents for those first years of marriage. It is really wired for me to be engaged and on my way to getting married. It is something you talk about since a young age but for me I never thought that the day would come where some man would ask me to marry him and then in a year from now there will be my wedding. It won't be my going to weddings are seeing my friends and loved ones getting married but me. That is really freaky. I know that life will be good and fun. We both have Christ as our center and that is enough!

So I thought I would start a blog that showed the journey of Kris and I. I don't ever check xanga anymore, So I thought a new fresh start. It is 411 till we get married I am so excited :-)! This weekend my niece drove down all by herself haha...she really is the cutest thing in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
